How the 30 days are counted
Your 30 days start at midnight on the day after you enter — land on November 1 and your last day is December 1. It covers tourism, business, family visits, exchange and transit, and it's extendable through a local Exit-Entry Administration office if you apply before it expires.
How the 240 hours work
You'll need a confirmed onward ticket to a third country or region — not back to wherever you arrived from. You stay within designated provinces around your entry port, the allowance can't be extended, and border officers set the exact deadline when you enter.
